IT operational costs are minimised via automated data migration policies and end user initiated information retrievals. The first release of RISS is focused on active archiving of Email and Microsoft Office documents. Future releases, including HP Information Lifecycle Management (ILM) partner integrations, will expand support to cover all forms of reference information and file types. Unlike competing solutions, the Reference Information Storage System integrates all of the required hardware, software and services that will provide both a cost-effective and long-term storage of reference information.
