Sandberg Wireless G54 USB gives you wireless network access via a USB port. This allows your computer to communicate with a wireless access point at the centre of the network – or directly with another computer that is enabled for wireless network access. This eliminates the need for network cables, as the wireless network communicates using radio waves. As the Sandberg Wireless G54 USB simply connects to a USB port, there is no need to install hardware inside your computer. The adapter is compliant with the 802.11g standard, giving speeds of up to 54 Mbit/s, and of course is also compatible with 802.11b devices.
