Преобразователь напряжения Tripp Lite APSX1250, оборудованный автоматическим переключением питания от сети на батарею и встроенной системой зарядки батарей, может служить в качестве ИБП с продленным временем работы, автономного источника питания или автомобильного инвертора. Обеспечивает длительную выходную мощность до 1250 Вт с напряжением 230 В переменного тока на 2 выходные розетки, используя питание от любой батареи 12 В или автомобильного генератора постоянного тока. Специальный режим OverPower позволяет временно обеспечивать выходную мощность до 150% от мощности постоянной нагрузки на период времени от 1 до 60 минут, а режим DoubleBoost обеспечивает 200% мощности на время до 10 секунд, необходимое для холодного запуска мощных инструментов и двигателей. Когда шнур питания подключен к розетке сети переменного тока, электроэнергия подается на подключенное оборудование и выполняется зарядка комплекта батарей 3-ступенчатой системой зарядки с выбором зарядного тока 7,5/30 А. В режиме ИБП альтернативный источник питания реагирует на отключения и перепады напряжения и переходит на питание от батарей посредством практически мгновенного автоматического переключения. Для простоты подключения в конструкции предусмотрены сильноточных входные клеммы постоянного тока (батареи и кабели приобретаются отдельно; рекомендации по выбору приведены в руководстве по эксплуатации). При питании от сети или генератора система передает синусоидальное напряжение к подключенному оборудованию и выполняет зарядку батарей. В режимах преобразователя и ИБП на выход подается импульсно-модулируемое напряжение со ступенчатой аппроксимацией синусоиды. Надежная конструкция с использованием мощного трансформатора и регулировкой частоты позволяет обеспечивать питание для резистивных электронных нагрузок или индуктивных двигателей большой мощности, компрессоров и других приборов с большим пусковым током. Опциональный модуль дистанционного управления питанием APSRM4 с полным набором светодиодных индикаторов обеспечивает дистанционное включение и выключение преобразователя и непрерывное получение информации о его состоянии (APSRM4 приобретается отдельно). Обеспечивается практически неограниченное время работы за счет подключения любого количества батарей (приобретаются отдельно). Хорошо приспосабливается к обширному перечню прикладных задач и условий работы за счет регулируемых настроек зарядного устройства для батарей наливного или гелевого типа и выбора значений напряжения переключения на питание от батареи.
